Sonesta Select Los Angeles Torrance South Bay Hotel, Torrance

The hotel is conveniently located right off I-405, making it a great choice for easy access to nearby beaches and restaurants. The rooms are clean, spacious, and surprisingly quiet despite being near a busy road. The service was a mix of a non-caring attitude with some standout staff members. The dining options were limited but enjoyable, offering typical California fare. The facilities were decent overall, but there were some issues with cleanliness and maintenance.

I have to say, my stay at this hotel was quite a mixed bag. The rooms had an odd odor, but hey, the bed was soooo comfortable. They were spacious and very cozy, even if facing the freeway. The service was a bit of a hit and miss since they were also running the Starbucks, but overall, it was awesome, with excellent service provided. The location is a bit noisy being close to the freeway entrance/exit, but it's surprisingly quiet. It's super convenient with plenty of stores and places to eat nearby, and the fact that they offer free breakfast is a nice touch. Unfortunately, I had to go into town for a proper dining experience, which was disappointing. On the upside, they do have different hot pot dishes available.

My stay at the hotel was great! The room, though located right next to the highway on the first floor, was clean, spacious with a standing balcony and a large bathtub—the perfect amount of space. The service, especially from Rahul, was wonderful, and the staff were very friendly. The location, although not close to any point of interest, was convenient being on the 405 from LAX with a Starbucks onsite. The dining experience, while truly delicious, was poor and very restricted. However, the price was quite reasonable.
